Q: Where are you located?

A: Mini Price Self Storage has many locations conveniently located in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, York County as well as Richmond, Chesterfield, Henrico and Hanover. We have additional locations in planning and under construction. If you need to store belongings, files or other items, we have a location near you!

Q: What's the minimum or maximum rental period?

A: Each of our units rents on a month-to-month basis. That means you can rent one of our storage units for as little as a month, or as long as you need the space. We have a number of customers who just need some extra storage space a few times a year and they simply rent a unit for a month or two when they need it.

Q: What if I need air conditioned or heated storage space?

A: We have heated and cooled spaces at each of our locations in a variety of sizes.

Q: Do you sell boxes, locks and packing supplies?

A: Yes, we have a wide selection of packing supplies and boxes in different sizes at each location. If you are renting storage space from us you receive a 50% discount on all boxes and packing supplies! Plus, we provide a top quality, heavy-duty security lock for each of our tenants at NO CHARGE. You don't even have to buy your own lock, and most of our customers tell us it's the biggest and most secure lock they've ever seen.

Q: How do I determine what size storage space I need?

A: The easiest way to determine what size storage space you need is to give us a call and we'll help you pick the right size based on the items you need to store. It's quick and easy, and one less thing for you to worry about. You can call us toll free at1-866-531-2675.

Q: What about the "free" trucks?

A: We have a heavy-duty moving truck at each location available for our tenants to assist with moving in to your storage unit. New tenants are welcome to borrow the trucks. There are no rental fees or daily charges. We also have dollies available for moving heavy items into our storage units and of course there is no charge to use them!

Q: What types of items do people typically store in your units?

A: Virtually anything you can think of. We have contractors and construction workers who store tools and materials while they're working on nearby job sites to keep their expensive equipment safe. Of course we have homeowners, people who live in apartments or condos and even people who live on boats store items that no longer fit in their current space. We also have a lot of customers who are moving into and out of the area, or who are military and deployed out of town. Mini Price is also a great bargain for professionals that need to safely and securely store records and files. This includes medical offices, CPAs and accounting professionals, attorneys and more.
