Couldn't Be Better! The staff at Mini Price Storage on Old Staples Mill Road is knowledgeable and helpful. Courtney and Amber worked with me when I had little time to get a storage space and lots of questions. They made it as smooth a transaction as possible. The loan of the truck from the facility was easily accomplished and extremely helpful, as was the recommendation of a local crew to help with the moving, packing, and storing of big items. In addition, the property is clean, the storage areas secure, and I have been there after dark and felt no uncertainty about my safety or the safety of my belongings. Feeling a little stressed about what I was going to do with a few pieces of furniture as my moving date was approaching, I happened to pull into the Mini Price Storage facility located at 9001 Old Staples Mill Rd, in Richmond, Va. It was quite a pleasant experience for me. I really was just going to see if it was open for starters (it was a Sunday) so I could find out some basics...prices, availability, and other concerns. Well, I was graciously greeted by a very kind lady named Katharine who proceeded to answer all my questions very respectfully and professionally. I was very impressed with the different packages and advantages that were offered...especially the use of a box truck for free on my moving day (and no gasoline charge either). Katherine handed me the information I requested and a business card and left feeling pretty good. I also noticed that both the office and the grounds of the facility were very neat and clean. Two days later I received a follow-up call from Katherine just to check with me and see if I had any more questions or concerns. And then just today, three days later, I went back and filled out the necessary paperwork to rent the storage space. Katherine was not there this time, but another employee, Amber, was most helpful and friendly. I was also impressed that I could get a free mailbox there while my things are being stored. This facility is worth the price. Before choosing Mini Price Storage I reviewed prices and amenities for Public Storage, Sentry Self Storage, Jack Rabbit, and AAA storage. The value for Mini Price far outweighs that of its competitors. The staff is very friendly, the introductory offer was very competitive, and the facility is clean and secure. I needed to obtain a large space in a short amount of time and Mini Price was very helpful in finding something that would meet my needs within the same day. What was even better is that they offer FREE TRUCK RENTALS for moving your stuff in - no gas surcharge, no mileage limits, and no hassle. I thought that maybe I would have a hard time reserving the truck for the date and time that I needed, but even that was hassle free. The truck rental alone saved me about $80. It is well worth the investment. Mini Price also offers free business center use for its customers. Again, this is also a savings. If you don't believe me, check out the rates for comparable services at Kinko's. While checking on my truck rental, I was able to use their business center to quickly access the internet to print up a document that I needed. I would recommend Mini Price Storage to anyone who is looking to store their belongings. Really, this is quite a service. Best safe storage in Norfolk! Mini Price Storage is the best storage in Norfolk, they have very good deals, and I do recommend them even if you need storage for only a few months. I have been with them for more than 6 months now, and I am planning to continue with them. The staff is really helpful and smiley. The location of the storage is in the best place, you can come from the 64 or little creek and I guess they have another location in Granby Street. Good Job. Excellent Customer Service! I won't mention names because I wouldn't want to leave anyone out and cause hurt feelings. I've only had the very best of service there and it's been a few times above and beyond their job description. They always give me a "courtesy" reminder call when my rent is due and are always pleasant to speak with. Anytime I've had to request a service call they've been right on top of it and are always offering to assist in any way. The girls there are very sweet and personable, and I enjoy my trips into the office. I recently relocated from GA, and downsized my home, but not my stuff. I needed a climate control unit to house the excessive amount stuff I had. I initially went to public storage, and they had no climate control units. I went to Mini Price and was pleasantly surprise to know they had the climate control units and include a free move-in truck to assist me in moving my "stuff" into storage. Awesome Everything! When I went shopping around to see where I was going to store pretty much a whole house full of stuff, other storage companies didn't have a climate controlled unit or they were way too expensive. I finally went to Mini Price Self Storage and the customer care service was spectacular! The reps. are so enthusiastic and concerned whenever I go in either with a concern or just when I pay my bill. They had exactly what I was looking for and it is at a reasonable price. The Hilltop location is great. It is always clean and has a safe feeling. All the employees are top notch. They are very professional and engaging. Nadine is my favorite though.
